How does it work?
Upload one clear photo of your child, add their name, and choose an age, a theme and a story subject. Place your order, and we write a story around them and illustrate your child as the hero on every page. When you love it, you can order it as a printed hardcover.
What do I get and how much is it?
The eBook is $7.99: 12 to 13 fully illustrated story pages plus a cover, to read on any device, share by private link and download as a PDF. Once you have the eBook, the printed hardcover is $44.99, because your eBook payment is deducted. Shipping depends on the delivery country: the cart shows it before you pay, and the pricing page lists every country. In the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, the US and Canada it is free from 2 hardcovers.
How fast is it ready?
Your book is ready to read in about 15 minutes. The page you land on after paying shows the book as soon as it is ready, and the link to your book is in the order confirmation email you get right after paying. Hardcovers are printed to order: printing takes 3 to 10 working days, plus shipping.
Can I see the book before I pay?
Every book is written and illustrated from scratch after you order, so there is no preview. That is why the first step is small: the eBook is $7.99, you can rewrite any text and have any picture redrawn, and the amount is deducted when you order the hardcover.
What photo works best?
A bright, sharp photo where only your child is in the picture and their face is clearly visible, ideally with some of their body too. No sunglasses, hats pulled low, or heavy filters.
Can I change the story or a picture?
Yes. When your book is ready you can rewrite the text of any page and ask for any picture to be redrawn.
What else can I order with my book?
A greeting card (from $1.89), a coloring book ($9.95) and a birthday calendar ($11.95), all made from your book's illustrations and 20% off when a hardcover is in the same order. You can add an audiobook page to a hardcover for $4.99 (once per book, however many copies you order), start a sequel with the same characters, and copy or translate a book for free.
What happens to my child's photo?
We use it only to illustrate your book. To draw the pictures it is processed by AI services that are not allowed to use it to train AI models or keep it for their own purposes. It is stored securely, never sold, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Can grandparents, siblings or the family pet join the story?
Yes. Add up to 5 characters, each with their own photo: people, pets, or a favorite toy.
